Course Description:
Introduction to ROV Underwater Hazardous Device Searching, by A-T Solutions
This course is designed to give attendees the highlights and scope of A-T Solution’s “Remotely-Operated Vehicle Underwater Hazardous Device Search Course”. It will be conducted in Miami, Florida using a high value commercial asset. Due to the restricted nature of the location, the course is limited to Public Safety Officers or Officials that are United States Citizens, and identification information will be required when registering. The course will be limited to 10 students on a first come basis.
During the course, attendees will be introduced to the proper way of organizing and executing a targeted hull and pier search using the latest VideoRay equipment and accessories. Attendees will get the opportunity to learn from experienced instructors the most current terrorist tactics and deployment techniques. The course introduces participants to ROV UHD searching, reconnaissance, identification, and marking. Training emphasizes tactics, techniques, and procedures for working around and under large-vessel hulls, and piers.
Lunch will be provided.

Our Underwater Hazardous Device (UHD) Search course is intended to provide maritime security training to federal, military, and state and local maritime responders, such as Public Safety Divers, SWAT teams, port security personnel, and marine boat crews. Instruction is equal parts classroom-based and practical pier-side diving. Upon course completion participants will be able to:
- Identify underwater and maritime threats (limpet mines and special attack charges)
- Recognize underwater risk management
- Perform ship lockout/tagout procedures
- Conduct effective underwater searches to:
- Locate, mark, and identify suspect threats
- Make follow-on recommendations
